We purchased this book and two weeks later we are here in New York! The book is informative and easy to read. I like the fact that it is written by people that live in the City, it gives the information a personal edge. The featured 'neighbourhood walks' are a great tool in getting to know an area! The pull out map is also easy to follow, great as we didn't have data on our phone for google maps! I would highly recommend this book to anybody travelling to New York City.
