Shortly after receiving his calling, Kollin L. Taylor spent three weeks reading The Bible from cover to cover and he was inspired to write hundreds of poems based on Bible stories or how God impacted his life. You don't have to be religious to receive a calling in life, but when called you'll know by the sound of that incessant inner voice. Unfortunately, sometimes we choose not to answer and we never get to enjoy life to the fullest, instead, we work without ever feeling fulfilled or we may fail to fulfill others. When you see or hear stories about a CEO of a multinational corporation relinquishing their post to become a school teacher for a fraction of the pay, your wingman at the club every Friday night suddenly leaves you to go to Bible study instead, a member of the military leaves the behind a promising career with a steady paycheck and benefits to pursue other dreams, etc., those are examples of being called. And more importantly, those are examples of people answering their calling.
