Nalini Singh's psy-changeling series returns with another stunning novel.

Clay Bennett is a powerful DarkRiver sentinel, but he grew up in the slums with his human mother, never knowing his changeling father. As a young boy without the bonds of Pack, he tried to stifle his animal nature. He failed...

Talin McKade barely survived a childhood drenched in bloodshed and terror. Now a new nightmare is stalking her life - the street children she works to protect are disappearing and turning up dead. Determined to keep them safe, she unlocks the darkest secret in her heart and steels herself to ask the help of the strongest man she knows...

Clay lost Talin once. He will not let her go again, his hunger to possess her is a clawing need born of the leopard within. As they race to save the innocent, Clay and Talin must face the violent truths of their past, or risk losing everything that ever mattered to them.

About the Author

Nalini Singh was born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand. She spent three years living and working in Japan and travelling around Asia before returning to New Zealand where she lives, although she's always plotting new trips. She has worked as a lawyer, a librarian, a candy factory general hand, a bank temp and an English teacher, not necessarily in that order. Some people might call that inconsistency, but she calls it grist for the writer's mill.

    Comments about Mine to Possess:

Mine to posess is abrilliant addition to the series. With the passion filled story about clay and tally two heart broken people who find that they are more than friends ... its a brilliant love story , with lots of romance and greif but they end up finding a way to be together . just the detail in this book is what makes it so good ....

    Nalini Singh

    Nalini, in her own words...

I was born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand. I also spent three years living and working in Japan, during which time I took the chance to travel around Asia. I’m back in New Zealand now, but I’m always plotting new trips. If you’d like to see some of my travel snapshots, have a look at the Travel Diary page (updated every month).

So far, I've worked as a lawyer, a librarian, a candy factory general hand, a bank temp and an English teacher and not necessarily in that order. Some might call that inconsistency but I call it grist for the writer's mill.

    On Writing Romance

I've been writing as long as I can remember and all of my stories always held a thread of romance (even when I was writing about a prince who could shoot lasers out of his eyes). I love creating unique characters, love giving them happy endings and I even love the voices in my head. There's no other job I would rather be doing.

In September 2002, when I got the call that Silhouette Desire wanted to buy my first book, Desert Warrior, it was a dream come true. I hope to continue living the dream until I keel over of old age on my keyboard.

Some of the books I love:

    Rememberance by Jude Deveraux
The Heralds of Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey
The Pern books by Anne McCaffrey
Queen of the Darkness by Anne Bishop
    Moon Called by Patricia Briggs
    Othello by William Shakespeare
The In Death books by JD Robb
    Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon
    Simple Jess by Pamela Morsi
Orchid, Amaryllis, Zinnia by Jayne Castle
    Lady Love by Diana Palmer
    Loving Evangeline by Linda Howard
    Demon Moon by Meljean Brook
    Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews
The Time is Short by Nerina Hilliard
