A great up to date and positive book for sufferers of hormone lack!! I would have liked the psychological impacts of peri-m and menopause to be covered more, you'd think there were only physical problems but in my case the psychological was more severe.
As someone who NEVER thought she'd end up on HRT,dead against it initally, I can recommend these drugs as life-savers for those who suffer. We need to relieve suffering more than anything else.
This is an exceptionally informative book on Menopause and HRT and gives you the reasons on some of the flawed information on the negatives of HRT. It is more than surviving hot flushes, it talks about the benefits and associated risks as we head into our senior years which may last for another 30+ years.
