I loved this book! Larissa Ione once again delivered a great book.
This is the third book in the Lords of Deliverence series and focuses on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Eternal Rider focused on Ares/War, the second book Immortal Rider was Limo's/Famine's story and this book is Thanato's/Death's story.
Having read Immortal Rider, I knew Thanatos and Regan were in for a ride that would take them to hell (literally) and back, and I really enjoyed taking it with them.
I loved the characters and the story behind them.
Thanatos has been my favourite since the start, along with Wraith (Demonica series) as they both could be funny one minute, and down right scary the next.
I did not really like Regan in Immortal Rider as her job was ultimately to seduce Thanatos and get pregnant, however she managed to redeem herself in this book. Everything she did in her life was a duty to her job. I wanted to slap her sometimes to wake up and smell the roses and in the end she did.
This is a fantastic series and even though it would make it a bit easier to read the Demonica series previous to this one as characters from the series pop up every now and again. It is not neccessary.
I look forward to the next book in the series Lethal Rider Reseph's/Pestilence story. YES!
