It is said that most hotel developers are interested not in the exterior of their hotels, but principally in the interior design. To that extent, the interior design is important, hence in this series 'interior' was selected as one of the main themes, especially in the first volume.
About the Author
Hiro Kishikawa was born in 1951 in Otaru City on Hokkaido, Japan. After travelling about 50 countries of the world as a movie cameraman for FIS World Cup Ski Races and WRC (World Rally Championship), in 1982 he switched to a photo-journalist and specialised in photographing some 400 first-class hotels around the world as his life's work. He is a regular contributor to several magazines such as Traveller (Conde Nast), The Gold (JCB Card) and Impression (Amex).
