About The Author

I'm a children's writer from Tropical North Queensland in Australia. My first picture book, I've Lost My Kisses was released in May 2007.It's the story of a kiss-loving cow called Matilda Rose. She loses her kisses on the day that her grandfather comes to visit and must hunt high and low to find them before he arrives. I have also written a chapter book and some poems and articles. I live with my husband, three boys, two beagles, and an ever diminishing number of pet fish. My complete lack of ability to keep fish alive has led to my family nicknaming me Darla (from Finding Nemo)
