The best-selling book for parents who want to provide wealth and security for their children has just got better! More than just budgeting and banking for kids, How to Give Your Kids $1 Million Each! shows you how to do just that-all you need is $1 per day in an investment fund and one hour per month from when the child is born and they will have $1 million waiting for them when they are 50. This mass-market revised paperback edition delivers all of Ashley Ormond's investing experience in a concise, accessible format. This is not a get-rich-quick book, Ormond deftly cuts through the investment hype to bring you a simple, low-cost and tax-effective method to build long-term wealth for your children.
About the Author
Ashley Ormond was one of Australia’s first PC-equipped ‘mobile lenders’, starting out in the early 1980s with a financial calculator, a dual-floppy drive Compaq portable PC and a portable Epson thermal printer in his car. Comments about How to Give Your Kids $1 Million Each! (Updated Edition):
Great information, not just for our kids but for making wise financial investments for ourselves too. It's not about saving money, it's not about how to send your money but just focuses on investing; which is actually a pretty good place to start since the rest look after themselves (esp the spending).
The only finance book I've read that broadly covers the basics of investing to the depth required. A no fuss, clear explanation of how to invest money and what to invest it in. Ormond's experience is broad enough to provide the information I've been after for years but have lacked the knowledge to ask the right questions.
I wasn't going to read this book because it looked boring but it's an easy read and one I wish I'd read years ago.
