SEE THE WORLD OF Fifty Shades of Grey ANEW THROUGH THE EYES OF CHRISTIAN GREY FROM THE 125 MILLION COPY BESTSELLING AUTHOR, E L JAMES.

In Christian's own words, and through his thoughts, reflections, and dreams, E L James offers a fresh perspective on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the world.

CHRISTIAN GREY exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty – until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. He tries to forget her, but instead is swept up in a storm of emotion he cannot comprehend and cannot resist. Unlike any woman he has known before, shy, unworldly Ana seems to see right through him – past the business prodigy and the penthouse lifestyle to Christian's cold, wounded heart.

Will being with Ana dispel the horrors of his childhood that haunt Christian every night? Or will his dark sexual desires, his compulsion to control, and the self-loathing that fills his soul drive this girl away and destroy the fragile hope she offers him?

Title needs no explanation

I have read the Shades Trilogy and loved them, this book is even better as it is from Christian's perspective and is a breath of fresh air. Well worth the read.

A complete waste of your time and money. Apart from the fact it simply repeats the trilogy, and very poorly at that!, it's written in the third person, so not engaging at all. When you watch something and put your own story to it, that is more interesting than this.
I couldn't wait to finish it, such a mega disappointment. I enjoyed the trilogy, but would never buy any more.

      Comments about Grey:

Decent story if you read all 3 50shades books and want the other side of the story.

It gave an interesting light to what He thought and felt etc I wouldn't say it's exactly well written but neither were the others in the series so you kind of expect it.

Overall good for a boredom buster or For fans of the original 3

      Comments about Grey:

I didn't love or hate this series, but this particular book was not what I was expecting. While it does give you some insight into Grey's past, it was not as much insight as I would have liked. This book basically recaps the first one, just changing the main point of view.

"Christian Grey's candid narrative gives the familiar story a raw, passionate and much sexier context ... the Ana that Christian Grey sees: sexy, seductive, witty and in his own words "a siren". She displays a compelling blend of vulnerability and backbone and finally feels like a character women can get behind ... Best of all the book allows readers direct access to Christian Grey's deepest, darkest thoughts ... It is fascinating to read the story with fresh eyes too, having glimpsed Christian's traumatic childhood and gained an understanding of his motivations. More realistic and far racier than anything EL James has written before, Grey was definitely worth the wait. Frankly it gives the first three books a much-deserved spanking." Daily Express "I love, love, loved it!" -- Liz Jones The Mail on Sunday "This new book, as with the trilogy and the movie, puts women's sexual desires out into the open, which can only be a good thing." -- Liz Jones The Mail on Sunday

              E. L. James

E L James is a former TV executive, wife and mother of two, based in West London. Since early childhood she dreamed of writing stories that readers would fall in love with, but put those dreams on hold to focus on her family and career.

She finally plucked up the courage to put pen to paper with her first novel, the multi-million-copy bestseller, Fifty Shades of Grey which, together with its sequels, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, became a worldwide phenomenon.
