This volume, thoroughly illustrated with drawings and photographs, profiles a selection of works and projects developed between 2008 and 2013 by Vittorio Gregotti, one of the world's leading architects and designer, and his studio. The projects are collected and grouped into three main geographical areas - Northern Africa, China, and Europe - and are analysed and described in detail in terms of being part of an overarching conception of landscape or urban architecture.
Plans for new cities in Algeria, Egypt and China and the occasions for changing European contexts are described in projects for public buildings in urban and territorial scale. Critical texts of presentation of geographic areas and a detailed illustrated register summarize the entire course of study through 60 years of activity.
