This book has great recipes - my baby has really enjoyed them (a true favourite being the Aussie Stew!). The best part is that most of these dishes can be frozen - great time savers but I know my little one is getting his nutrition :)

This book has great recipes that are easy to follow. As a first time mum, the 'first food' guides were helpful when starting solids. Although it includes advice on what foods help baby's digestion (bowel movements), I wish it also included was some advice on which foods should be avoided if baby is constipated such as the rice cereal, carrot and banana (generally high starch foods). Overall, this book is a great resource for first time mums.

I'm a busy first time mum who wanted to provide the best food for my baby but did not know how to create healthy and exciting food for her. This book has been amazing! It provides delicious recipes.. Its us so tasty that I double the quantities so we can all enjoy it. Its quite quick and easy so I can get it done during her arvo nap. It also tells me when my baby is ready to eat the different recipes. No more bland food for my baby... It is great watching her as she tries all the new flavours and knowing that she is getting a wonderfully healthy and varied diet.

I have bought a few baby cookbooks and this is definitely one I always grab first. It not only has yummy recipes that can be enjoyed by all of us, but it also includes info about when your Bub shows signs of being ready for the next step. So worth it and it would be a great baby shower gift.

Great place to turn when looking for help with starting your baby on solids. Really clear and contains a lot of common sense. A must for new mums... and experienced ones. Great recipes for meals once solids are under way too.

I found the getting started bit really useful and 4 months into solids my baby is loving all the meals so far. I've read all of it and can't wait to try all the recipes. A really useful guide.
