Since early childhood she dreamed of writing stories that readers would fall in love with, but put those dreams on hold to focus on her family and her career. Books 1 & 2 were a great easy read while I was getting over jet lag and unable to sleep. But by book three I was getting tired of the continuing saga of this series. I was getting a little underwhelmed with the repetition of lip biting and sexual tension.
On the other hand I still wanted to find out if they survived or not so had to it through to the end.
Does that make it a compelling read? I'm not sure as I skimmed over quite a few pages to move the story along.

I started this the second I finished the first book and loved is just as much. This is one of the best series I have read in a long time. My husband hasn't read the books, but is very happy I did.

I came across this trilogy of books by accident as it was never my intention to read any of them. When originally asked about the books,I giggled and replied that 'I could write this stuff on my kitchen table'. Little knowing at the time that is exactly where the books were written!
They are what they are - escapism pure and simple with lives & circumstances we can only dream about.
