Comments about Field Guide to Australian Birds:

If you are not an experienced ornithologist - bird watcher, you have an excellent chance of finding what you saw with the comprehensive way this book has been produced. Excellent for both beginners and for veterans.
The identification of eggs and nesting, graphically shown at the back is just a wonderful bonus, compared to almost all other Australian bird book publications, which lack that.
Also, the reproduction of feather colours are far more exacting than a lot of other bird publications that i have seen.
I have just given one to my eleven year old Granddaughter who thinks it is wonderful, and well able to comprehend it at her age.

book is excellent. my granddaughter developed an interest in watching the birds and she particularly loved the nests and eggs section which is not in all books of this kind.
