Comments about The Light Between Oceans:

Loved this movie, having read the book previously, it was very true to the book, the actors were terrific, with excellent performances by Michael Fassbender and Jack Thompson in particular. Very sad, but beautiful, with breathtaking scenery of Stanley in Tasmania where much of the filming took place, and also the lighthouse scenes which were filmed in N.Z.

Comments about The Light Between Oceans:

Loved the movie "The Light Between Oceans". Although very sad at times, this is a lovely story. In particular, Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander and Jack Thompson portray their characters with great feeling and emotion.
The movie, based in Stanley, Tasmania, included some absolutely beautiful scenery, and the lighthouse and some other scenes shot in New Zealand were also brilliant.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, having watched it twice so far. You really need to see the second time to take in the story fully, especially if you have not read the book. Highly recommended.
