    Comments about Divergent:

    Dear Readers,

I advise you to not read this unless you are willing to hear minor spoilers, or, have seen the movie before reading the book, therefore, this review may not give too much away.

Divergent has a simple, perfection to it. The concept is wonderful; the factions, initiation day, etc. I especially enjoy how this is only in one city, as we are told in the first book (hint, hint) and by that I mean the idea of factions and dividing everyone into their personality groups, Abnegation, Dauntless, Erudite, Candor, and Amity.

The author, Veronica Roth started this book years before the first one was published, in the perspective of a young boy named Tobias (Four), needless to say he is in my view the second main character in the books. She abandoned the project, until, she discovered that Tris (Beatrice) would be the perfect character to be the narrator of the story.

All around perfect book in my view!

    Sincerely,

    Geo.

Interesting take on future segregated society. Easy reading, so I'd recommend buying the 3 books in one hit.

Trust us on this-this baby is going to blow up BIG! And if you chose to remain factionless, then you're gonna be one lonely soul." PerezHilton.com "A taut and shiveringly exciting read! Tris is exactly the sort of unflinching and fierce heroine I love. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough." Melissa Marr, bestselling author of Wicked Lovely "DIVERGENT is a captivating, fascinating book that kept me in constant suspense and was never short on surprises. It will be a long time before I quit thinking about this haunting vision of the future." James Dashner, author of 'The Maze Runner' "Divergent holds its own in the [dystopian] genre, with brisk pacing, lavish flights of imagination and writing that occasionally startles with fine detail." New York Times

                Veronica Roth

Veronica Roth graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in creative writing. While she was a student, she often chose to work on the story that would become Divergent instead of doing her homework. It was indeed a transforming choice. Now a full-time writer, Ms Roth lives near Chicago.

The third and final book in The Divergent Trilogy, ALLEGIANT, will come out on October 22, 2013. In the meantime she will spend endless hours browsing Wikipedia in her pajamas as she eats corn flakes.
