Booktopia Comments: A very large format book, you can see the scan of the image was too big for our scanner which can only do a bit bigger than A4. It is a very sturdy hardcover book but when you open it up there is a big fold out chart that lays out the dinosaurs through the periods. However on the reverse side there are lots of detailed drawings of specific dinosaurs and short descriptions on each. A perfect gift for 6 to 12 year olds studying at school but equally as worthwhile for kids aged 3 to 6 who already have a passion for dinosaurs. They will love the big fold out pages. The back cover has 2 holes in it so you can hang the book on the wall and hang the chart without ruining the book.

Designed as a guide to the prehistoric world, this fold-out book can also be hung on a wall to make a poster. The pages fold out to 1.4 metres revealing more than 70 dinosaurs and prehistoric reptiles and describes how they belonged to different orders, sub-orders and families.
