The ideas presented in this book were easily absorbed. I found myself seeing my home with different eyes, applying th e principles I had read about. This is a great book to start the mind ticking before redocorating.
After watching the block, I thought I would invest in having her book at
Home to inspire myself. I love it, you can take things from one chapter
And combine it with other parts of the book. A great book to browse through
As a coffee table book as well.
Not at all what I expected as she very much stated the obvious such as art work can be the focal point in a room, how you set the dining room table can give a formal or informal feeling to the room, trays are good for holding remotes. I was looking more for answers to questions such as can you have too many bold colours in a room, too many paintings on the wall, what are some options for arranging paintings, can a mirror be too big, can I have too many colours in a room. None of these questions were answered. Thanks Shaynna, but I won't buy another book of yours.
I loved this book. I found it very easy to read with good, practical advice. I loved the pictures and the summary at the end of each chapter.
