Mark Brandon Read - known to most as Chopper - just can't escape his lifestyle as Australia's most deadly criminal. His fearsome reputation precedes him and his underworld status just keeps on growing.
Although Chopper has managed a record stint out of jail and is now a proud father, he isn't likely to hang up his weapons just yet as is proved with "Don't Go Breaking My Legs", the fifth instalment of his legendary tales. With his customary criminal wit, Mark Brandon Read once again hilariously and frankly recalls stories of crims, hitmen, drug syndicates and gang wars.
With buried money, bodies, weapons and, of course, buried truths to tell of, he's back and as ready as ever to regale us with the sort of revelations the cops wish he'd keep under wraps, and the sort of punch lines that keep him in everyone's favour.
About the Author
Mark Brandon Read now lives in Tasmania, far out of reach of the hundreds of criminals who want to put a bullet in his skull. His life story was the subject of the hit cult movie "Chopper."
