    This book is a fantastic reference for people who want to improve their knowledge of nutrition. The author gives a common sense approach to understanding what goes into the foods we eat. Although it will not persuade me to drink raw milk or eat raw eggs, a favorite consumption of the author.
    Much of what is written makes the reader think twice about how the food we consume has an affect our overall health. This book will be taking a long term place on my book shelf.

        Very informative and easy to read. Bit by bit I am making changes to the way our family eats and we are all better off for it. Cyndi is very inspiring and everyone should read this book. Her message is that we all need to go back to cooking and eating simply prepared foods, not processed, packaged foods.

            This book challenges you to change your habits into healthy ones one step at a time - but you can do it in your own order and timing. I am regularly referring to it. I love that the author says that this is what she does and we have to make our own minds up but she suggests an 80/20 rule where you stick to the new habits 80% of the time and not beat yourself up that it has to be 100% of the time which makes it harder to accomplish.
