About the Author
Jack Heath is the pen name of an award-winning children’s author. He was born in 1985 and moved to Canberra in 1989. His books include The Cut Out, the Scream series, Replica and many other action-packed thrillers for young people, published in several languages around the world. In the course of his research he has trained with firearms, performed street magic, visited morgues and prisons, travelled through Russia and read only books by women for a year. When he’s not touring schools, libraries and festivals around the world, he lives in Gunghalin with his wife and their son.
Jack is a proud member of the ACT Writers Centre (and deputy chair on the board). He encourages all writers who wish to improve their skills or their career prospects to join their local writing organisation.
