Comments about Bitterblue:
An excellent book that delves into the importance of the past for the continuing survival of the present. Cashore creates a cast of characters so utterly real and full of faults that makes the unique world she has created feel that much more authentic. While the book appears daunting by its very length, it leaves you wanting more and more of this world which, I can only hope, will come in the form of another book in the series.
