I read this after 50 Shades, and certainly enjoyed the storyline and characters more. It was an easy read, and found it difficult to get to the end of the chapter and decide that was the last one for the night - just wanted to keep reading to see what was going to happen next! I didn't know at the end of the book there were 2 more books to come - and have pre-ordered them, and can't wait until they're released - will certainly be having a re-read before they do.
Whilst I waiting for more books to be sent, I starting re-reading the 50 shades series... and it just seemed somewhat lacking and not as compelling.
BRING ON #2!!

OK I'll admit it..I am a fan of this genre , but finding a book with a great story to match the steamy sex scenes is quite difficult . Bared to You was a fair read and although I enjoyed it more than 50 Shades of Grey , it still just didn't quite hit the mark . However readers are left hanging with secrets yet to be revealed and friendships on the line , so have no doubt I will be getting book 2 !! This may just be one of those series that only gets better as you read and I am totally committed to finding out !

Forget "50 Shades of Grey"....these Crossfire books are superbly written. Sylvia Day has out done herself. Once you start reading, you can't put them down. I have read them both over & over. May 2013 cannot come fast enough for the 3rd book to be release. The 2 main characters are hot & leave you aching for more. The other characters in the story are slotted in excellently & add just the right amount of humor, angst, jealousy & at times, are cringe-worthy. Do yourselves a favour & indulge in a little adult fantasy reading. You won't regret it!

I really enjoyed the story line. felt they hooked up too soon. not much of a courtship at all, they were a given to get hot and steamy. My only dislike is the use of crass words for the female and male body parts. we know what they are but to say them so coldly without meaning, diminshed the feeling behind what the sexual act the characters were engaging in.

good read. very similar to 50 shades however less of the play toys so will appeal to a more broader set of readers who like the romance domination without all the heavy heavy on every page! easy read and enjoyed it.

Like 50 Shades a book you cannot put down if you are into this genre. The overall story eg troubled billionaire, girl on the street, inner demons, lifestyle, money etc is so similar to 50 but then again its not. It obsesses you, drawing you into its tale of 2 troubled lovers. While the dominance is there its not DSBM. Just a book totally screaming sex but not in a bad way, one that takes you into its fantasy. A worthwhile read.
