'Baking is so satisfying; we learn new skills each time we try a new recipe. But best of all, baking brings us together, both in the kitchen and at the table – I love watching the smiles as people take their first mouthful and eat with joy.' - Alison

Comments about Bake:
I remember ordering this book barely five days before Christmas, and knowing that with all the parcels being shipped off around Australia, there wasn't a chance I would receive it on time. Lo and behold, along came the package not three days after I had bought it! Wonderful service, my sister loved the recipes inside, and unlike many other items I've purchased online, 'Bake' arrived properly packaged and in stellar condition. I would (and have) recommended Booktopia to just about anyone who will listen. Keep up the good work.

I baked the chocolate chip cookies.
Easy recipe to follow & they were probably the best cookies I have made.
Next up to try, lemon meringue pie.
