Sir Les has been knighted... when will he join Sister Mary Mackillop? Hillarious. If you grew up in this time, this is a mandatory reminder of your youth and a must read.
"... a perfect parody of a modern, vainglorious celebrity with a rampant ego and a strong aversion to the audience (whom celebrities pretend to love but actually, as Edna so boldly makes transparent, they actually loathe for their cheap shoes and suburban values)." - The Sydney Morning Herald
A trip back in time to the era of Barry McKenzie and the traditional Australian migration to England (which now seems to be reversed) for a bit of mayhem and dipsomania. Sir Les typifies the excesses of the period and resurrects a plethora of colonial colloquialisms.
