When this particular cow walks into a line of washing on her usual Saturday morning walk, she ends up with a pair of bloomers over her head. Running off in a blind panic, the poor animal sets off a riotous chain of events involving a postman's trolly, a wedding party and a sailing boat, with the cow deftly avoiding disaster at every turn. Then, ignoring the havoc she has created in her wake, she steps calmly back into her field, giving us a knowing wink. This delightful read-aloud story from one of Australia's best-loved storytellers is brought to life by Terry Denton's hilarious and energetic illustrations.
